Glass Artist Sue Russ

Scenic Rim artist Sue Russ has been creating with glass for 18 years.

Sue’s inspiration comes from nature in her surroundings, water and our oceans and always the trees. She also really enjoys creating from her imagination.
 
Her journey began with traditionally handcrafted leadlighting both commissions and restoration before adding the Tiffany method of Copperfoiling, Kiln fused glass and Lampwork glass bead making to her skills.
Working from her home studio on the outskirts of Boonah Sue enjoys creating while surrounded by trees and views of the mountains.

Recently Sue has returned to Harrisville with a cute little retail space located beside the hairdresser in Queen Street, opposite the beautiful old bank building.
