We're working to be a hub that supports a vibrant and thriving cultural community - A Creative Scenic Rim.

The Scenic Rim is a regional government area covering over 4,238sq km. There are breathtaking landscapes, World Heritage listed National Parks, rich agricultural farmlands, hardworking communities and growing urban footprints.

Cultural engagement and participation is recognised by Scenic Rim Regional Council as integral to building community capacity. Council's Cultural Services Team manages The Centre Beaudesert, Boonah Cultural Centre and Boonah Cinema and Vonda Youngman Community Centre at Tamborine Mountain. They deliver a range of programs including exhibitions, performances, workshops, school holiday activities, public art projects and Regional Arts Development Fund grants.
