Gift Wrapped exhibition Artisan Callout

Calling artists, authors and creatives!  

We are seeking 2D and 3D fine art and fine craftworks for our annual end of year celebration exhibition, Gift Wrapped.  The exhibition will showcase small hand crafted items ideal for gift giving, from painting, pottery, sculpture, jewellery, to works on paper, quality archival reproductions, photography, fibre, textiles, art/craft merchandise, art cards, books and more. 

Gift Wrapped will be on show at The Centre Beaudesert from mid October to mid December 2024.

Who can apply:

• This exhibition is open to artisans from Scenic Rim, South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

What can I submit: 

• We are looking for quality hand crafted artworks, craftworks and creative pieces which have not been shown previously at The Centre Beaduesert. 

Size limits: 

• 2D works (framed/matted) 40cm x 60cm max.  Frames must have hanging cord/D-rings securely fitted.  Up to 10 works pending size.
• 3D works 40cm x 40cm x 40cm max  (weight limitations may apply). Up to 10 works pending size.
• Books, merchandise - quantity to be finalised with the successful artisan.

Display props:

• Where display props or stands are required for jewellery, textiles, 3D works and merchandise items, artist is to supply.

Sales and Fees: 

• All items will be for sale. Our standard commission is 27.5% off the sale price.
• There are no fees associated with this exhibition.

Submissions close: 1 August 2024.

How to apply:  Email your full contact and address details, list and quantity of your proposed items and up to 5 quality photographs showing a selection of your proposed work to thecentre@scenicrim.qld.gov.au  by the due date.  Late applications will not be considered.

Successful applicants will be notified early August 2024.
